Analysts of the large banking conglomerate JPMorgan believe that stablecoins, like Libra, may greatly grow up, however such projects contain some risks – bitcoin doubler 2x has learned.
The team of JPMorgan`s analysts led by Joshua Younger has told that stable cryptocurrencies, including Libra, may grow up to the level that “they will take over significant part of global transactional activity all in all”.
The researchers have noted that projects of stable cryptocurrencies don`t take into account microstructure of payment system functioning. In case of stressing situations such payment systems may be banned, what will cause serious economic consequences.
One more risk of such projects is negative inflation. Stablecoins must be provided with a basket of fiat currencies and government bonds, although state currencies show negative inflation now. Besides, we watch tendencies pointing at global monetary policy easing.
